Glock 42 Sale - I bought it at the end of the first year and haven't had any problems. I wear a suit most of the time and can slip it in my Uncle Mike's pocket holster, inside my jacket pocket, or IWB (attachment) with Vader's suit without anyone knowing.
The recoil of this gun is very less. My kids, who are 9-12 years old, shoot with me and have no problem shooting. My oldest shoots G26 and G23/G19 (I have a conversion barrel...thanks!) and prefers to shoot the G42 because of the low recoil.

I don't like the trigger, so I'm getting a 3.5lb spacer to lower the longer loads. Maybe it's the size and weight of the gun, but it seems like the trigger is longer pull and "harder" to break.
Glock 42 Problems
This is the first Glock I have ever bought and I don't regret it! A good friend recommended it to me. I was told that I should get either 42 or 43. I chose the 42 for its compactness and ease of concealment. I expect to get 43 marks in the end. Replaced my Taurus 738 with this gun. There have been many problems due to delay in this. Glock doesn't have that problem. Looking forward to doing some laps in this range.
Also it is fun to shoot. Ruger LC9s on my wrist and thumb, was "sharp" (arthritis, badly mended thumb), son's G43...doesn't fit double stack thumb (G26)...best for me. Small, light, easy to shoot (accurate!), very effective with "proper" ammo (I like the Lehigh Extreme Guard).. reliable, typical Glock quality..excellent!
Newbie, I love to shoot. Glock 19 is my original, bought in 2014, learning how to handle, clean, etc. I'd also like to go over the shooting part, since I signed up for my concealed weapons permit, most of which I've used in the past 4 weeks. Seems like it should be easy. But as class got closer, I realized I didn't want to be carrying such a big gun. I love my Baby Glock! It's cute, but don't let the "cuteness" fool you! The gun is attacking! No noticeable recoil to me, but the fire is a bit surprising as the gun has very little to absorb the fireworks! The Glock 42 is the smallest GLOCK possible with ultra-compact dimensions and ease of unloading. It features Glock's Safe Action System, which ensures a consistent trigger pull from first stage to final stage. Three automatic independent mechanical safety devices are installed in the pistol's fire control system. All three safeties are sequentially deactivated when the trigger is pulled and automatically reactivated when the trigger is released. The frame is made of polymer with hardened steel guides. It has an ideal grip angle and low weight. The slide stop lever and magazine catch are conveniently operated by the shooting hand. Advanced slide surface treatment significantly reduces wear, provides optimum hardness and corrosion resistance even in saltwater conditions. Matte surface minimizes light reflection. The barrel is cold hammer forged with a mechanical lock. It also has the same advanced surface treatment as the Slide.
